AMD started Radeon Pro Vega 64 sales 27 June 2017. This is high-end GCN 5.0 architecture desktop card based on 14 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 16 GB of HBM2 memory clocked at 1.57 GHz are supplied, and together with 2048 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 402.4 GB/s.

Compatibility-wise, this is 2-slot card attached via PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 267 mm. Two 8-pin power connectors are required, and power consumption is at 300 Watt.

It provides outstanding gaming and benchmark performance at 83.26 percent of a leader's which is AMD Radeon R9 390 X2.
