NVIDIA started Quadro FX 4000 sales 1 April 2004 at a recommended price of $2,199 . This is a Curie architecture desktop card based on 130 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at designers. 256 MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1 GHz are supplied, and together with 256 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 32 GB/s.
