NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M: specs and benchmarks
NVIDIA started GeForce GT 640M sales 22 March 2012. This is Kepler architecture notebook card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 2 GB of DDR3\GDDR5 memory clocked at 1.8 GHz are supplied, and together with 128bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of Up to 64.0 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is card attached via PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. No additional power connector is required, and power consumption is at 32 Watt.
It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 5.56 percent of a leader's which is AMD Radeon R9 390 X2.
