AMD started Radeon R7 M440 sales 1 June 2016. This is a GCN architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 4 GB of DDR3 memory clocked at 2 GHz are supplied, and together with 64 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 16 GB/s.

Compatibility-wise, this is IGP card attached via PCIe 3.0 x8 interface.

It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 5.73 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA TITAN Xp.
