NVIDIA started Tesla C2050 sales 25 July 2011. This is a Fermi architecture desktop card based on 40 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at designers. 3 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 3 GHz are supplied, and together with 384 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 144.0 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is 2-slot card attached via PCIe 2.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 248 mm. An additional 1 6-pin power connectors are required, and power consumption is at 238 Watt.
It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 11.49 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
