AMD started Radeon R5 M230 sales 7 January 2014. This is a GCN architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at office use. 4096 GB of DDR3 memory clocked at 1000 GHz are supplied, and together with 64 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 16 GB/s.

Compatibility-wise, this is IGP card attached via PCIe 3.0 x8 interface.

It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 3.10 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
