AMD Radeon HD 7990: specs and benchmarks
AMD started Radeon HD 7990 sales 24 April 2013 at a recommended price of $999. This is GCN 1.0 architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 2x 3 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 6 GHz are supplied, and together with 2x 384 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 2x 288.0 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is 2-slot card attached via PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 307 mm. Two 8-pin power connectors are required, and power consumption is at 375 Watt.
It provides good gaming and benchmark performance at 36.63 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA TITAN V.
