AMD Radeon Pro SSG: specs and benchmarks

AMD Radeon Pro SSG

Summary

AMD started Radeon Pro SSG sales 8 August 2017 at a recommended price of $6,999. This is GCN 5.0 architecture desktop card based on 14 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at designers. 16 GB of HBM2 memory clocked at 1.89 GHz are supplied, and together with 2048 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 483.8 GB/s.

Compatibility-wise, this is dual-slot card attached via PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 267 mm. One 6-pin and one 8-pin connectors are required, and power consumption is at 350 Watt.

It provides good gaming and benchmark performance at 38.90 percent of a leader's which is AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT.
