NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2: specs and benchmarks
NVIDIA started GeForce 9800 GX2 sales 18 March 2008 at a recommended price of $599. This is Tesla architecture desktop card based on 65 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at office use. 2x 512 MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1 GHz are supplied, and together with 512 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 128 (64 per GPU).
Compatibility-wise, this is 2-slot card attached via PCIe 2.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 10.5" (26.7 cm). 6-pin & 8-pin power connector is required, and power consumption is at 197 Watt.
It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 4.63 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA TITAN V.
