AMD FirePro W8100 technical specs and benchmarks
AMD started FirePro W8100 sales 23 June 2014. This is a GCN 2.0 architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at designers. 8192 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 5 GHz are supplied, and together with 512 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 320 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is 2-slot card attached via PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 279 mm. An additional 2 6-pin power connectors are required, and power consumption is at 750 Watt.
It provides good gaming and benchmark performance at 32.66 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
