ATI started Radeon X850 PRO sales 1 December 2004 at a recommended price of $279. This is a R400 architecture desktop card based on 130 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 256 MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1.04 GHz are supplied, and together with 256 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 33.28 GB/s.
