AMD Radeon RX 5500: specs and benchmarks
AMD started Radeon RX 5500 sales 7 October 2019. This is RDNA 1.0 architecture desktop card based on 7 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 4 GB of GDDR6 memory clocked at 14 GHz are supplied, and together with 128 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 224.0 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is Dual-slot card attached via PCIe 4.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 180 mm. 1x 8-pin power connector is required, and power consumption is at 110 Watt.
It provides good gaming and benchmark performance at 36.38 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.
