AMD Radeon HD 8790M technical specs and benchmarks
AMD started Radeon HD 8790M sales 16 November 2012. This is a GCN architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 2 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4.5 GHz are supplied, and together with 128 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 64 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is MXM Module card attached via MXM-A (3.0) interface. An additional None power connector is required.
It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 7.25 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
