AMD Radeon HD 6990: specs and benchmarks
AMD started Radeon HD 6990 sales 8 March 2011 at a recommended price of $699. This is TeraScale 3 architecture desktop card based on 40 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 2x 2 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 5 GHz are supplied, and together with 2x 256 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 2x 160.0 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is 2-slot card attached via PCIe 2.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 295 mm. Two 8-pin power connectors are required, and power consumption is at 375 Watt.
It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 17.75 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.
