NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q technical specs and benchmarks
NVIDIA started GeForce GTX 1070 Max-Q sales 30 May 2017. This is a high-end Pascal architecture desktop card based on 16 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 8 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 8 GHz are supplied, and together with 256 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 256.3 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is MXM Module card attached via PCIe 3.0 x16 interface. An additional None power connector is required, and power consumption is at 115 Watt.
It provides good gaming and benchmark performance at 50.57 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
