NVIDIA GeForce 940M technical specs and benchmarks

NVIDIA GeForce 940M

Summary

NVIDIA started GeForce 940M sales 12 March 2015. This is a Maxwell architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 4 GB of DDR3 memory clocked at 2 GHz are supplied, and together with 64 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 14.4 GB/s.

Compatibility-wise, this is MXM Module card attached via PCIe 3.0 x8 interface. Its power consumption is at 25 Watt.

It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 7.39 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
