NVIDIA GeForce 940M: specs and benchmarks
NVIDIA started GeForce 940M sales 13 March 2015. This is Maxwell architecture notebook card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 2 GB of DDR3 memory clocked at 1.8 GHz are supplied, and together with 128 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 28.8 GB/s.
Compatibility-wise, this is card attached via MXM-B (3.0) interface. No additional power connector is required, and power consumption is at 75 Watt.
It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 7.47 percent of a leader's which is AMD Radeon R9 390 X2.
