AMD started FirePro R5000 sales 25 February 2013 at a recommended price of $1,099. This is GCN 1.0 architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at designers. 2 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 3.2 GHz are supplied, and together with 256 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 102.4 GB/s.
