NVIDIA started GeForce GTX 965M sales 5 January 2015. This is a Maxwell architecture desktop card based on 28 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 4 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 2.5 GHz are supplied, and together with 128 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 80 GB/s.

Compatibility-wise, this is MXM Module card attached via MXM-B (3.0) interface. An additional None power connector is required, and power consumption is at 50 Watt.

It provides poor gaming and benchmark performance at 22.29 percent of a leader's which is NVIDIA Quadro P6000.
