NVIDIA started GeForce 9500 GT sales 29 July 2008 at a recommended price of $85.99. This is Tesla architecture desktop card based on 65 nm manufacturing process and primarily aimed at gamers. 256/512 MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 800 (GDDR3) and 500 (DDR2) MHz are supplied, and together with 128 Bit memory interface this creates a bandwidth of 25.6 (GDDR3) and 16.0 (DDR2).
Compatibility-wise, this is single-slot card attached via PCIe 2.0 x16 interface. Its manufacturer default version has a length of 6.875" (17.5 cm). No additional power connector is required, and power consumption is at 50 Watt.
